Dr. P. A. Deshmukh has more than 24 years Teaching and research experience in the areas of Heat Transfer, Fluid and Thermal Engineering. Professor Deshmukh's research group does both fundamental and applied research. The research activities carried out by the group is done with an objective of providing immediate solutions to an engineering problem in hand. Some of the current research activities in the areas of thermal and fluid Engineering are in the development of advanced cooling technologies, customized heat spreaders, augmented heat transfer technologies, performance improvement of centrifugal pumps and computational heat transfer and fluid dynamics.
